We are quite a large bunch online. I have figures ranging from a total of 16 million Pakistanis online to a whopping 60 million (This 60 million figure was quoted by a friend working in one of the largest corporate ISP in Pakistan – I still don’t believe him though 
).
Being on Facebook is now not a question. I have stopped asking long lost friends, “So, are you Facebook?”, rather I just mention ‘I will search and add you on Facebook’ – having used this on a sizeable number of people in the recent past, I can tell you that practically everyone who have had a college education seems to be on Facebook. But three hundred and fifty eight thousand, nine hundred and seventy eight people on Facebook are not exactly ‘everyone’, now is it.
Thanks to CIO Pakistan, I got the following information of Pakistanis on Facebook. From a marketing perspective, this type of information is a gold mine. (rather, ‘can’ be a gold mine).
3000 plus Pakistani senior citizens is the most amazing figure for me.

A latest report indicates that there are 376,800 Pakistani users on Facebook (Q4 2008).Some 93,000+ users from Pakistan got registered in the last quarter of 2008.
